Qantas - Dreamliner [2016]

We set out to launch an innovative new online platform that reflects the pioneering spirit of the Dreamliner by delivering an unparalleled interactive experience.

We developed a site that puts the user at the heart of the experience, and highlights the progressive nature of the advanced new Dreamliner 787-9 and the Qantas brand. The design and UX of the site is mobile-first and seamless across all devices. The Dreamliner itself is the navigation for the site, with content delivered through video, 3D interactions and social media integration. Focusing on a user first experience, we created an immersive experience where users could explore the plane and its features in 360° and animated 3D, from the palm of their hand. The site is reactive, changing from day to night in real time by using the geolocation of each user’s mobile device or browser, thus adding a layer of personalisation to an already user-centric experience.
